Killimangalam Runner and Mats Set – (KRMS0004)

Awarded the UNESCO Seal of Excellence in 2006, Killimangalam Pulpaaya Mats represent a long tradition of floor mat weaving. These floor mats have now been redesigned for modern dining rooms in the form of table runners and table mats. They are stylish and earthy, made of sedge grass that has gone through a long process of soaking, drying and processing. They are handwoven by a women’s unit in Kerala, by the Bharathapuzha river.
