Ayiram Butta No Zari handweave in cotton, from Kanchipuram in Tamilnadu.
There are small orange and white rudrakshams highlighting the two tone maroon body.
The palla is richly woven with motifs of mayil and yali.
Kudirai and yali motifs are in the borders. The pink selvedge adds a beautiful finish.
There is no zari, it is threadwork.
The cotton is very high quality, with a great drape.
The saree is 6.1 meters including a 75 cms blouse piece.
We recommend not cutting the blousepiece to get a long palla and nice pleats.
Height is 47 inches suitable for tall people also
